How long have you been vegan and what Inspired you to make that transition?
5 years and I have been a vegetarian most of my life, I really wanted to focus on living a healthy lifestyle so I researched into it and came across veganism.
Have you noticed any changes since becoming vegan?
It has been 5 years now and overall about 12 years without any meat in general but I have always had good energy levels through out these years, maintained a very fit lifestyle and active recovery.
You are a MyProtein athlete - which supplements do you use? Is it possible to build muscles on a whole food plant based diet only?
Of course it is! I personally use their vegan blend chocolate smooth protein powder - it is my favourite in smoothies!
Can you share with us your workout routine? How often do you train?
I weight train 5-6 times per week focusing on different muscle groups in each session.
How does your typical “day on the plate” looks like?
For breakfast I love a big bowl of oats and nut butter.
Lunch is always a huge post workout protein smoothie.
Dinner is always my largest meal of the day with a plate full of rice, tofu, beans and veggies!
