How long have you been vegan and what Inspired you to make that transition?

I've been vegan for almost 5 years now. What inspired me was meeting my boyfriend Kyle, and then watching awesome YouTube videos and documentaries. After seeing slaughterhouse footage and realizing what I was supporting with my dollar by consuming that "food", there was no going back for me!

Have you noticed any changes since becoming vegan?

My whole life has changed since becoming vegan! I'm more aware of the issues going on in the world, I'm way more in tune with my body, and I feel as though I have a heightened sense of compassion for all beings. Also things like less brain fog, more energy, better sleeps, clearer skin, etc.

You and your boyfriend Kyle are traveling a lot - how do you stay in shape while you are on the go?

We travel with our bicycles! So we ride our bikes a lot of the time, and I also do at home workouts like the ones I post on my fitness YouTube channel: MadFit! If there's a gym in the area we will definitely hit that up as well!

Can you share with us your workout routine? How often do you train?

I don't really have a set routine right now! But I do hit the gym 5-6 days per week switching off between upper and lower body days and throwing in some of my at home ab routines into the ends of my workouts!

How does your typical “day on the plate” looks like?

Breakfast: Fruit! Right now I've been having a lot of watermelon.

Lunch: usually oats (I eat oats everyday) topped with more fruit like berries!

Dinner: I've been obsessed with my kale salad recipe with toasted chickpeas right now! And then I'll usually have some potatoes on the side as well!
